Installation views: Hair Wall
2021-ongoing

This portable and autonomous work is comprised of my hair, individually glued to the wall. Only the root of the hair is attached to the wall so the strands of hair move from movements of visitors in the room.
The work draws attention to the strong emotional connections humans have to hair; beauty when it’s still attached to our bodies, but disgust when it’s displaced or changes colour.
Previously installed at:
- Room for the Space of Loneliness, 2022
- (H) AIR, WESTEND, April 2021
- KABK, June 2021
- A Finger in Every Pie, Dec 2020
