In My Hand a Miniature unfolds itself into a world of the portables, through the perspectives of Marcel Duchamp’s Boîte en Valise, Ursula Le Guin’s Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction, the ethnography of basketry, offering interpretations of what a carrier can be. The thesis exists as a mutable device that is a book, a bag, a miniature; a copy, a carrier, a collector, all in one.
